What's new in v1.2.1

Released October 29, 2026

Auto patch gives unpatched fixtures their DMX addresses in one click, and right-click menus on the Patch and Layout tabs put patching, selection and delete where you are working. Fixtures you add to a rig now wait outside the layout until you place them.

FixedUnpatched fixtures can be selected in the Patch inventory, multi-selections on the Patch grid keep every fixture, and a click on a menu over the grid no longer selects the fixture under it.
FixedConfirmation dialogs from the DMX Manager open over it instead of behind it, Delete in the Layout works, and the Patch Inspector buttons are no longer cut off.
FixedOn the Mac, macOS asks for permission to use a microphone or camera instead of blocking FXCanvas without a prompt.
NewAuto patch: right-click unpatched fixtures and click Auto patch, or click Auto patch all, to give them addresses one after another. It never fills gaps or moves a patched fixture, and asks once before a fixture spans into the next universe.
NewRight-click menus for fixtures on the Patch and Layout tabs: auto patch, unpatch, place in or remove from the layout, frame the selection, select all of a type, and delete. The Patch tab also gets a Delete button next to Unpatch, and every delete asks you to confirm.
NewCtrl+click and Shift+click select several fixtures in the Patch inventory, the Patch table and the Layout list, and dragging fixtures into the layout shows where they will land.
ImprovedFixtures you add to a rig start outside the layout until you drag them in. Existing rigs and imported MVR and Resolume patches keep their positions.
ImprovedSelected fixtures look the same in every list, in the layout and on the patch grid. Fixture rows show the FID, names no longer repeat themselves in brackets, and the fixture number stays visible in a narrow list.
